1.CAR LAUNCH TATA NEXON FACELIFT:
The all new Nexon is going to be a total game-changer. It will feature a fresh exterior styling, significant upgrades inside and a new transmission. Tata Nexon will get an upgrade with a new front grille that will have stylish LED elements – yes, they are moving away from projectors with LEDs since 2017 – there, you’ll find a new connected tail lamp and sporty alloy wheels in the side profile. Inside – more of the same brownie points, all the new digital instrument cluster looks a tad bit older than before. The new generation steering wheel, ventilated seats, air purifier, electronic parking brake, and a list of current sets and features are present. 2.Toyota Rumion:
Toyota and Maruti have been using each other’s products for some time now, and the Rumiana will be Toyota’s version of the Ertiga. This Toyota will be a more affordable 7-seater – for those considering petrol and CNG 7-seater options from Toyota. It will be manufactured by Maruti and distributed by Toyota. It will produce 103bhp with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, with options for a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The CNG engine will also be a 1.5-liter, but it will only come with a manual option. When it comes to features, there won’t be much of a price difference – as it will be priced at approximately 10.06 lakhs to 15.39 lakhs (on-road).Do look our old post for more.
3.MAHINDRA XUV700 UPGRADE:
We’re hoping for an upgrade to the XUV700 – it’s going to be a model-year change. So, we don’t expect significant changes in the vehicle’s specifications, and we anticipate only minor improvements in features – for example, we’re hoping for the addition of a rear radar and some additional ADAS features, auto-dimming mirrors, and so on, in the new XUV700. So, when it comes to features, we expect some changes in the new XUV700. However, we don’t expect it to launch before the festive season.
4.Tata Nexon EV:
As soon as the Nexon petrol and diesel get their upgrades, there was no way the Nexon EV could lag behind. In the new Nexon EV, you can expect LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, a new touchscreen, and we’re also anticipating some more changes on the EV front. The battery pack size may not change, but we are hopeful for improvements in the range as the battery management system gets an upgrade. Tata will refresh the designs for both the Nexon EV Prime and EV Max – although the EV Max will come with more feature upgrades. Can we expect some additional ADAS features? We’re hoping for that too!
5.Honda Elevate:
While we’ve taken the new Honda Elevate for a spin, the official launch is still pending. We’re expecting pricing details to be available by early September. Honda is eagerly awaiting the market introduction of its SUV, and they have ambitious expectations when it comes to pricing. Honda Elevate is aimed at competing with compact and mid-range SUVs, and they hope to gain an advantage in terms of pricing. This should help them attract more car buyers because it’s not only spacious and powerful but also safe.
The absence of a hybrid option could be a significant drawback for Honda, although in the next 2 years, we anticipate seeing an electric version of the Elevate in broad daylight. If you were to ask us, the price should range between 12 lakhs to 19 lakhs (on-road). This is where the Elevate will shine – because the prices of its other competitors go up to 24 lakhs, and it offers many more features.
